Fleeting images at Upper Yarra Arts Centre

24 Jan, 2012 04:00 AM
AN intriguing exhibition of photographs from local artist Amara Trimmer is on at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre.

I Saw A Rainbow Rabbit is a fascinating collection inspired by local children and their innocent reflections on nature and the world around them.

Each image captures the beauty and light that children see in every action and emotion, in the way only young minds can. Trimmer has been drawing inspiration from human expression at its most natural for years.

As a photographer, she aims to catch fleeting moments we are often unable to express in words, helping solidify memories in film that might otherwise be forgotten. The exhibition runs until February 2.

At the Upper Yarra Arts Centre, 3409 Warburton Highway, Warburton.
