Good sports get a chance at Parkwood Secondary

19 Jul, 2011 04:00 AM
IT wasn't quite the Olympics, but organising a tournament involving more than a hundred pupils was still a challenge for Parkwood Secondary College students.

The year 9 sports and fitness class were set the challenge of organising the sports carnival.

More than 130 pupils competed in the tournament, which involved netball, soccer and European handball.

Warranwood Primary School grade 5 and 6 pupils enjoyed the thrill of taking part in the events.

Wonga House was the lucky group to take out the title of the tournament.
