Hanging up overalls, jackets and helmets on hooks is a thing of the past for members of the Croydon SES. Fund-raising activities over the past year have secured enough funding to buy 65 new lockers for the unit. Spokeswoman Melanie Glover, pictured right with SES member Veronica O'Sullivan, said the lockers provided members with their own storage for personal protective clothing and turn-out equipment. "All volunteers are very excited about these new additions, especially as personal items such as keys and wallets were previously locked in a drawer, shared by the rest of their team using only one key."
