New app on under-age drinking

07 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
A new smartphone application has been created to help parents and young people understand new Victorian laws on alcohol and minors.

Mental Health Minister Mary Wooldridge said last Sunday the Teen Drinking Law app was available for download on iPhones, Androids and other smartphones. She said the app could be used to guide parents and young people as they weigh up the risks involved in under-age drinking. It is part of a joint education initiative.
