Seville water play park stays closed

31 Jan, 2012 03:00 AM
The Seville Water Play Park remains closed following further tests that confirmed an outbreak of e-coli and coliform bacteria.

The park was closed earlier this month after concerns were raised about its safety.

Yarra Ranges Council's director of planning, building and health

Andrew Paxton said the shire was continuing to work with the Department of Health on developing a revised maintenance schedule for the pool. The council met department officials on January 20. "The park will reopen when the department and council are satisfied with the revised maintenance schedule."
