Hollie Vater studies at a computer at Ringwood Secondary College as students do some hard swotting for their final VCE exams. The students have been making good use of the school's study centre and library to prepare. The senior school head James Barut said it was a high pressure time for VCE students but they seemed to be coping well. "There's a lot of nervous energy going around but they're really supportive of each other," Mr Barut said. "Now's the time for them to put their best foot forward and show off what they know." There are 1890 students in Maroondah who are sitting at least one year 12 exam this month and 2169 from the Yarra Ranges. Exams finish on November 24. Picture: Gary Sissons
