THE Kilsyth basketball community will host a special fund-raiser for former Cobras player Josh Allison.
The former junior and senior Cobra was left a paraplegic following an accident in October last year and the association wants to help his family cover the many expenses.

Sam Kekovich and Leon Weigard have confirmed they will MC the night. Tickets are $50 each and covers entry, cocktail food and live music. All drinks have been donated on the night and will be available at bar prices, with all takings added to the fund-raising effort.
Tickets are available for purchase from Kilsyth Basketball on 97281033 during business hours.
■ Kilsyth Lady Cobras have re-signed key player Hayley Moffatt for the 2012 South East Australian Basketball League season.
Moffatt has played for the Cobras since 2005 and shapes as a key member of the Cobras side for the coming season as she can fill both guard and forward positions.
She said she wanted to lead her side to a championship. "I'm sure that the girls coming into the team will fit in with no difficulty and I am confident we can have a very successful season."
