Mooroolbark schools hit by vandals

Police are searching for the culprits behind two graffiti attacks on Mooroolbark schools at the weekend.

On Friday night or Saturday morning, the offenders broke into Pembroke Primary School and sprayed tags and offensive graffiti on the buildings, threw toilet paper around the school grounds, and used toilet rolls to try to start a fire.

Police believe the same people were behind a second break-in at the nearby Gray Street Preschool, where cooking ingredients and paint where thrown over the walls and floors. Information to Crime Stoppers, 1800 333 000.
