Woman injured in Tecoma station fall

A 38-year-old woman escaped death after falling in between a train and a platform at Tecoma train station last Wednesday night. The woman got stuck in between the train and platform about 9.45 before paramedics, CFA and SES workers freed her. She was treated at the scene before being airlifted to The Alfred hospital. A spokesman for Ambulance Victoria said the woman remained in a critical condition, with head injuries and a fractured leg.
