SARA, Xander and Iann, all five, are among Mullum Primary School's newest grade preps for 2013.
The three youngsters packed their bags and kissed their emotional mums goodbye last Thursday morning for their first day at the Ringwood primary school.
They were among 51,000 Victorian kids who started in state schools last week, a 3.1 per cent increase on last year.
