A rally against the proposed Tecoma McDonald's will be held this Saturday. The rally will begin in Belgrave in the car park next to the Cameo Cinemas at noon.
Protesters plan to march down Burwood Highway to Tecoma Primary School, where several people will speak out against the development. A spokesperson for No McDonald's in the Dandenong Ranges (formerly No Maccas in the Hills) said the decision to have the rally was a "direct consequence of community anger uncovered in a recent suburb-wide survey" that found almost nine in 10 residents did not want the development.
