An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the Healesville pair were trapped against a wall in the car park after a 79-year-old Millgrove man lost control of his car at about 1.40pm.
The spokesperson said the mother was sent to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, while the boy was air lifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
