PUFFING Billy showed no sign of slowing down during the annual Great Train Race yesterday.
The event came five days after the state government announced the ageing stream train would be receiving a funding injection of $4.4 million over the next four years. Thousands flocked to the railway to watch the sold-out race, as 3200 contenders ran the 13.2 kilometres from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park.
