MOOROOLBARK and coach Brett Fisher are yet to decide whether he will continue in the role next season following the Mustangs' preliminary final loss to Rowville on Saturday.
The Mustangs fell behind early and never recovered against a well-drilled Hawks side who ran out 70-point winners.
Rowville will now play Montrose in the Eastern Football League division 2 grand final with the winner joining Lilydale in division 1 next season.
Fisher said he and the club had yet to talk about season 2013 as they had fully focused on their premiership challenge this year.
Fisher said he was keen to coach again but had to speak to the club about their plans and make sure he could continue to commit the necessary time to the job.
"We both have to sit down and reassess, see where the club is going with it," he said on Sunday. "I'm yet to sign. The club needs to address whether I'm the right person to coach, then which players we will keep and which ones we might chase. We will meet over the next week or so.
"It's not a question about being keen, I'm certainly keen.
"It's about having the time ability to do it and I'm not 100 per cent sure yet."
When looking back at the preliminary final, Fisher both praised Rowville and was disappointed in his own side.
"We didn't give a yelp," Fisher said.
"I felt we prepared well but we couldn't execute the game plan against a very well-drilled Rowville side who pressured us hard. We never got a chance to get out of second gear."
The Hawks flew out to a five-goal lead at quarter time and the Mustangs never recovered as the Hawks continued to push the ball into their forward line as key forward Cody Morris kicked six goals. "We needed more pressure on the guys carrying the football. The supply coming into guys like Morris was too good, they gave him silver service," Fisher said.
With Rowville playing Montrose in the final, Fisher said he expected a tight contest but thought the Hawks would come out on top.
"If I was pressed to make a predication I would say, based on what I saw on Saturday, that Rowville will win it but they are two very good teams," Fisher said.
Cam Linford, Luke Armstrong and Mark Martin were listed as the Mustangs' best players.
