A, B, C and D - Ruskin Park Primary School certainly knows how to bring the alphabet alive.
To mark Literacy and Numeracy Week last week, prep pupils at the Croydon school dressed up as something beginning with their favourite letter of the alphabet.
The children then took part in the school's annual Alphabet Parade.
Each costume was created to represent a letter of the alphabet and aimed to celebrate the pupils' achievements in mastering recognition of alphabetical letter names and sounds.
A crowd of the children's families and friends came out to watch the parade during a special assembly. Prep enrolments for 2013 are now being accepted at Ruskin Park Primary School.
