A Mooroolbark man has been charged over an attempted armed robbery at a Lilydale store on Saturday night. Police were called out to the business on Cave Hill Road about 6pm and made a speedy arrest.
The 33-year-old man was charged and expected to face Melbourne Magistrates Court yesterday. A 43-year-old store attendant suffered minor injuries in the incident.
