A MOOROOLBARK woman was flown to The Alfred hospital and three lanes of the Maroondah Highway were closed after a crash in Chirnside Park last Tuesday.
Police said a car collided with the back of another, causing the second car to roll, about 1.30pm near the Chirnside Park shopping centre. The 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital. The other driver, a 38-year-old Lilydale woman, had no injuries.
Traffic had to detour via Kimberley Crescent and the shopping centre car park for several hours.
Police are still investigating the crash and witnesses can call the Yarra Ranges highway patrol on 9739 2402.
