THE greatest show on earth could be found right in the heart of Croydon last week when Brentwood Park Kindergarten hosted a circus day.
Children dressed as ringmasters, lions, clowns, ballerinas, tightrope walkers and more. The three-year-old children got to try their hand at circus skills, listened to circus music and made popcorn.
Director Helen Dundon said the day was a lot of fun. "They really enjoyed taking on the roles of the characters. It was great for social interaction and dramatic play," she said.
The circus day was held in the kindergarten's new building which houses the three-year-old program, and a toddler group.
Ms Dundon said the renovations and new programs added had been a great success. There are vacancies for both programs in 2013 with enrolments now being accepted.
