Car rolls on Devil's Elbow bend

Police are investigating an incident where a driver rolled his car off the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road near Olinda at 8.30pm last Saturday.

The car came off the road near the Devil's Elbow bend, collided with two trees and dislodged some rocks. The driver and one passenger were taken to the Alfred Hospital and treated for non-life threatening head, neck and spinal injuries.

A staffordshire bull terrier, also in the car, was cared for by local residents at the scene and is now at the Yarra Ranges pound.
