Guitarist Alex Legg and local author Isobel Blackthorn joined forces last week with a live reading from Blackthorn's new book at the Ringwood Library. After publishing her memoir, Lovesick, in 2011 to much acclaim, Blackthorn turned her attention to short story writing. Eventually Ginninderra Press offered to publish her book and the result is All Because of You, a collection of eight stories which depict intimately and honestly the travails and heroic responses of women and men confronting the pith of their lives. Her next live reading will be at the Yarra Junction library on November 13 at 11am.
