Maroondah Council staff to vote on EBA again

Maroondah Council staff will re-vote on their workplace agreement that had previously been knocked back by Fair Work Australia. The previous "enterprise agreement", negotiated between the Australian Services Union (representing council staff) and the council, was not approved earlier this month by FWA, which said they did not provide employees with enough information about the EBA.The ASU said Maroondah Council had refused its offer to sit down and talk through the issues between employers and employee. The council's 937 staff have until this Friday to vote again on the agreement.
