Two new playgrounds will soon be up and running at Melba Park in Lilydale and Hookey Park in Mooroolbark. At Melba Park, families will have access to new play equipment and a new asphalt car park while Hookey Park will see a new play space with a treehouse and bridge explorer walk. The works are expected to take about 14 weeks but Cr Terry Avery assured residents work would stop during the Lilydale Show in November.
