RUMOURS of dummy candidates abound in every council election, but the Weekly has to raise an eyebrow at the number of candidates in Mullum Ward who have not provided any contact details to the Victorian Electoral Commission.
Of the 15 candidates, five have no phone number or email listed — a good start in applying for a position as public as a councillor. In Wyreena Ward, there are two candidates with no details, while in Arrabri Ward there is one.
