Teeing off for respite at Croydon

Sophie — pictured with one of her carers Katie Stokes — is one of the many children at Villa Maria's children's respite centre in Croydon who will be helped by the funds raised during a charity golf day next Monday. The centre's fourth annual golf day will be held at the Southern Golf Club in Keysborough and aims to raise $60,000 towards rebuilding its children's respite house. More than 25 families use the Croydon service, which gives parents and carers of children with disabilities a break, while offering the children a safe and fun environment. To donate funds or take part in the golf day, call 9855 7600.
